About our team
We are Metromind, a design and development team. Like most of today’s applications, uberVU originated from our needs. As content management systems developers we realized that the web is no longer about the all mighty website. So we dreamed about a content management platform that will distribute the content on a variety of platforms and will make our life easier when it comes to tracking the impact of our content. Since there was no such product we decided to build one.

He’s been the manager for a while now, and we think he’s doing a great job. He’s always been passionate about the Web and he’s considered one of the pioneers of Web 2.0 in Romania. He’s won some entrepreneurship awards. And the media really love to ask for his opinion on web related issues.

Dragos ILINCA
Marketing and other related stuff
The Marketing Manager. He’s a Computer Science major, but you couldn’t tell. All he’ll talk to you about is marketing, experience, snowboarding and other really fun stuff. He’s been in charge of Marketing at Metromind since 2004, but he’s been fiddling with web experience for a lot longer. And his crusade to educate companies about using the Web better has made quite an impact.

Dan CIOTU
Programming guru
Dan has been our Lead Programmer ever since we started the company. He thinks that when it comes to web programming, anything you can imagine can be done. We didn’t believe him a couple of times and he managed to prove us wrong. We’ve been throwing challenges at him for a few years now, and he’s always found an ingenious way to come out on top. He means business.
Julia MIHAILESCU
Consultant
She brings that really necessary feminine touch to the team. She’s great with people, loves customers and can engineer great business partnerships. And when it comes to details, there’s nobody better to ask for an opinion. She is currently based in Sophia Antipolis, France, where she is looking to expand the business while pursuing an MSc in Marketing Management.

Christian GRIGORESCU
Senior developer
He loves to put himself in the client’s shoes. He knows that what people say they need is not always what they really need. He tries to figure out what they need and then puts that into programming practice. He’s doing a good job at it, we think. And we can always count on him to come up with quality work.
Emanuel LAINAS ( aka Manu )
Senior developer
Our youngest and newest addition to the team. He’s very flexible in his approach to programming and has a rich background in Web Programming. He knows the strengths and weaknesses of every technology he uses and that makes him really good at coming up with efficient solutions. He’s also fun to be around, but that’s more of a bonus for us.
