uberVU: New Name, New Perspective
Some of you might know this project as 2puffs. We recently decided to change the name of the project. But why would someone do that with a project that has not even been launched yet?
The reasons are simple. We really liked 2puffs. The way it sounds, the concept around it. Smoke signals was a great concept to work with. It expressed what we are doing pretty well. There was just one problem. Besides the reference to smoke signals, it also means something in slang. And it means something really offensive to some people.
We are sorry if we offended anyone with this name, that was not our intention. That’s why we decided to change the name.
The project is now called uberVU. We picked this name because it depicts what our project does. We are offering a super-overview, a super-panorama of all your content on the web. Of course, that’s just a small part. You can also post to the Web and have conversations. But the name can also include references to that.
We’re really happy with this new uber-name. The logo is also pretty sweet. Tell us if you like it and also tell your friends that their favorite new project has a new name, but it keeps its old promises 
Nice work! UberVu is very friendly name but in my case i’m more closed to 2puffs name than UberVu. Maybe because it’s so new.The previous name had a strong concept in his back, but also i understand u, the name and the graphic logo may generate some misunderstandings. Overall i like it. I hardly wait to use it.keep up the good work.
