As a new service just starting out in the crowded content market and without a huge marketing budget, ViewsHound chose social media marketing as one of their priorities. They put a consistent strategy in place and did a great job at getting the word out to relevant communities and press outlets.
But was social media delivering results or not?

For every blog or press mention of the company, uberVU also shows how may people picked up the article, how many people posted it on Twitter or other communities. So when ViewsHound puts out a press release or launches a new feature, they can see not only how many blogs wrote about them, but also how many people shared those posts, where, and who they are. This paints a clearer picture of how many people a social media marketing campaign reached and of who those people are, so you can better understand your customers and fans.
