I’m happy for EM, but Shonda’s shows have gone downhill since the terrible writing of Grey’s has gone downhill. I hope EM finds a better role soon.

Yeah…..I’m sort of confused with this comment. You mean ethnically? How is casting a Cuban-American not diverse????
Also, I believe Murciano is Cuban so that’s obviously a step in the right direction.
(I’m assuming you were talking about the show casting actors from a variety of ethnic backgrounds. If not, just ignore what I said.)
Ok, there are a lot of things about Shonda Rhimes-produced shows you can criticize (and I have), but diversity in casting is simply one of them.
I’d expect the rest of this cast to eventually follow suit.

I’m also more excited to see Martin Henderson as well. Wasn’t he allegedly supposed to be in the TV version of Mr. & Mrs. Smith that never happened? I remember him from Bride & Prejudice…
Two “hopes” for this new show:
1. it ISN’T the same bizarre medical situations and love triangles
2. they don’t make up a fake island country
It doesn’t have to be, but it certainly could be.
I don’t have anything to say about the news, but isn’t that photo of him just the most unfortunate EVER? The flesh-colored graphic on the wall behind his head is giving him enormous, Mad Magazine-style ears.
I’m assuming it’s because they’ve already slept with everyone in the US. (They’ll soon be joined by Drs. Alex Karev, Addison Montgomery, and Mark Sloan, who are clearly in the same predicament.)
Does this mean ABC’s gonna get their money’s worth out of the “LOST” sets? ‘Cause it sounds like Lost meets Grey’s….ummm
She should really JUST concenrate on Grey’s Anatomy…

This just sounds like Grey’s Anatomy and Private Practice on a tropical island. It’ll be the same old love triangles and dramatic medical events.

Great. another project for Shonda. Grey’s has gotten worse since Private Practice launched.
I LOVE Enrique Murciano. I am so happy that he is back on tv. I have missed him since “Without a Trace.”

Does anyone remember that show years ago where prospective doctors went to medical school in a tropical island–i think it was Jamaica. I remember because it was my first introduction to Red Stripe and Jerk Chicken. Rimes’ new project sounds a lot like that.
I think this is exciting. So happy to see that EM is headed back to my TV screen.
It’s being produced by Shonda’s production company but it was NOT created by Shonda.
Does anyone remember when he was on MTV’s Spyder Games??
Another reading comprehension casualty. Shonda is just a producer on this “Map” show, it’s actually created by someone else. Reporters just like using Shonda’s name to draw in the eyeballs.
This show sounds AWFUL.

AWESOME! I loved Enrique in Without a Trace, he always seemed like an under used actor there though. I’m happy he’ll be back on tv!!
