St. Louis County Prosecutors watered-down the charges in the Kenneth Gladney case[12] from a misdemeanor to an ordinance violation without so much as even calling St. Johns Hospital, where Gladney received treatment for his injuries, and checking Gladneys hospital record or speaking with care providers on site.

I made the call the St. Louis County Prosecutor. The number for Brian Malone is actually (314) 615-7042. I was told that yes, Brian Malone had reviewed the evidence and that charges had been filed. I then asked if they were going to review the charges as the Hate Crimes that they were, and was promptly forwarded to the County Prosecutor that was in charge. Naturally, I had to leave a message.
