“Intellect loses its virtue when it ceases to seek truth and turns to the pursuit of political ends.” – Robert H. Bork
In a “Big” way, Andrew Breitbart has injected into our modern cultural/media zeitgeist a foundational reminder of why it is so intellectually critical, even fun, to inspire and embrace the notion that “there’s nothing better than having convivial relations with people with whom you disagree.”
To that end, may I humbly share my own ideological apostasy and second ...

Been there. Done that. (Although I did NOT vote for Jimmy Carter!) Born and raised in a Dem family, but even I could not vote for the Peanut Farmer. Then my suspicions were confirmed and Reagan stepped in to begin my enlightenment. Rush does, indeed, host the one show that is truely home to Advanced Conservative Studies. And you can learn something there Every. Single. Day. I know I have.

I first heard Rush on the telephone, yes the telephone. I heard the local am radio station in the background ever so slightly one day while I was on hold. I think it was 1990. Nowadays I just rock Nixon and Reagan campaign buttons. The Reagan buttons say I'm a conservative. The Nixon button says I will happily ruin their shit.
