I am not familiar with what you are writing about, so I have not forgotten them, but if they blew up hotels and murdered innocent people, then they are terrorrists. However, we are writing about the current day situation and the inability of the MSM to label a Muslim terrorist as a terrorist. In my veiw, the religion of the perp should have no bearing on whether you are a terrorist or not.

The word Muslim is the participle of the same verb of which Islām is the infinitive. An adherent of Islam is a Muslim, meaning "one who submits (to God)".

So, I would ask, what point are you trying to make by saying that there is a difference between a Muslim terrorist and an Islam terrorist, or was it simply your lack of knowledge that lead you to make the statement you made?

When a fundamentalist Christian kills a women's services doctor while shouting “praise Jesus,” Christianity isn’t just a small player – it’s got a starring role. And now that U.S. law enforcement notes the two-faced stance of the "legitimate" anti-choice movement in their supposed disavowal of the slaying, it should make it increasingly hard for anyone to say otherwise.

I say it “should,” but it won’t… Look at the news.

Thoughtful types have speculated over a “moral justification” that could have excused Tillman's murder. One major website tells us that our very own Homeland Security secretary is hard at work preventing a rise in activity by right-wing extremists and the possibility of returning veterans joining them.

And that’s the drill: when Christ-motivated killers gun down Americans in cold blood in their own places of worship, the first step in our screwed-up world is to chant, “Christian churches are being forced to pay exorbitant taxes.”

The fact is, in churches all over the U.S., the desire to destroy Western Civilization continues. What is the PC thing to do? Avoid “connecting the dots,” but focus on the "troubled man feeling hopeless" in a weird world of women making their own decisions about their own bodies.

But it’s more than that. The defiant radical Christian living in America has contempt for modern life, your lifestyle, your beliefs. Add to this a rejection of female equality, and you’ve got a madman on a mission.

I suppose saying all this makes me a anti-religious hate monger. But that’s the point. When a man kills Americans in the name of Jesus – and you become a bad guy for pointing that out – then it’s time to be the bad guy. ... See all content Hide content

I agree, I think all religions should have to answer for the way they inhibit compassion for the other. I long for a world where Christians aren't killing doctors or harassing gays and Muslims are respecting women and not killing people in the name of God. Dude, your first paragraph (you know the angry sarcastic one) had no relation to the comment you were replying to PERIOD. Cannonball8 never said he wasn't a JIHADIST. Your second paragraph (you know the violent threatening one) also is replying to what no one said. The third bit is ok and you are supporting Cannonball8's point. The fourth simply reiterates the article that everyone just read . The last part seems to suggest you you think you taught someone something despite the fact that you just argued a point never stated, agreed with the point you were replying to, and restated the article.

Claiming that Muslim extremists are more dangerous or more prevalent than violent homegrown extremists is dumb. Disturbed individuals come in all flavors, with all sorts of self-justifications for their behavior. Ask any of McVeigh's victims, or the family of Dr. George Tiller, or… pick from thousands of other examples.

Making every Muslim a suspect, as you seem to want to do, is not realistic – Islam represents 25% of the world's population. Homeland Security needs to focus on nutty, violent types regardless of their religious orientation. McVeigh claimed to be a Baptist. We don't need to monitor all Baptists, right?

Re "moaning about why they hate us," well, here's the important question: Which is "safer," friends or enemies? It seems that our latest military thinking in Afghanistan is to "win the hearts and minds" of Afghanis. With that as a goal, WE NEED TO KNOW why they hate us. It's the only way we'll ever be able to bring our troops home.
