I agree that the election process is ridiculous. However so is the entire process of workers organizing whether in the air or rail industry or other private sector industries!

Workers and their families suffer when election rules for union certification are stacked against the worker. Congress can remedy this situation and in the case of the Machinists Union attempts to continue representing the former Northwest Airline employees, (now Delta Airlines Airline employees), and Delta employees in those skills, the cards are certainly stacked against these workers.
