Bas,

Really impressed with your project management e-book especially as it focusses on the hardest element of managing any project, i.e. the people. So many texts concentrate on the techniques of project management it’s great to see this aspect getting the attention it needs. I’ll certainly let others know about it.

Kindest regards

Paul

Greetings.

I enjoyed the e-book. Your ideas about the role of the PM in the complex system of the project and how the PM needs to identify “the Hot Cause and the Cool Solution” to engage stakeholders were both very helpful.

You lost me a little on the Panarchy section, and I wish you had gone into more detail at the end of each chapter on what you wanted us to take away

Well-done, Bas. The documentation of your articles in an e-book format crystallize out the total value of otherwise scattered postings over time. Congratualtions for a nice linear book that is not really linear. It compels the reader to think

My own experiment with a 'blook' (blog + book) has been fun. I combined blog posts, lecture outline, 12 team nutrients and packaged it for online delivery as PDF or print-on-demand. There's something of the future in these little experiments. I look forward to reading your book and sense that there will be many commonalities. Good to see these ideas growing in all kinds of places. Ingenuity Arts: Adaptive ... See all content
