An endorsement a day keeps the critics at bay, if not away

So, Music City Center Coalition, who can we expect to endorse the proposed downtown convention center tomorrow? Yesterday it was the Tennessee Titans. Today it’s the Metro Airport Authority. From the news release:

The Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority (MNAA) has reiterated its support of a new convention center for Metropolitan Nashville and Davidson County, which will further the mutually beneficial travel and tourism goals of Nashville.

“The MNAA is a committed economic ...

development partner for Nashville, the region and the state, said Raul Regalado,” president and CEO of the MNAA. “As an integral part of the city and state’s transportation infrastructure, the MNAA is a proud, longtime partner in Nashville’s ongoing commitment to economic development and tourism.”

The MNAA first expressed its support in February 2007 when the MNAA Board of Commissioners adopted a resolution supporting the building of a new convention center in Metropolitan Nashville and Davidson County.
