Reply to daveman, you ask a stupid question are there any winners in Tennessee?

Obviously if you have to ask then you are not a fan of Tennessee and you should be barred from blogging.

I don't have the time and patience to bring you up to speed with the history and tradition of Tennessee. If you can read and locate a library you will see how many winners have came from the State of Tennessee.

I saw it, it was funny, get over it. If they are crying they probably cry over UT when they aren't doing well, like most of this year. Jeff Fisher is a good guy and has a sense of humor and it works. Oh yeah, don't watch Harry Potter movies because they promote witch craft. It is entertainment not life and death, don't take it so literal, breath, it is just for fun.

I've had it with you Fisher sympathists. I don't hold it against him for attending the event, or for introducing Tony Dungy (who is a Very Class Act). Maybe if Fisher wanted to joke around, he should have asked Tony what it takes to Coach a Winning team. Then the joke would have been directed at himself and not the players who show up to work every day hoping that their Leader will come up with something that will actually work on the field against a quality NFL team, or the Fans, who by the way Pay his regretably over heightened salary with their own hard earned money.

Yes, I think the fans and players deserve much better. As far as skill goes, mostly all NFL players are drafted according to their specific value & each teams needs, so you can't say that the Titans aren't as physically capable and skilled as any other teams players. They all have great capabilities and heart. But waht they don't have is a head coach that can channel the best abilities from each player and put it in a game plan.

I defend to the end the line coaches Jim Washburn and Mike Munchack, because they are the only reason the Titans aren't much worse every year than they are. If you watch Titans football games over the years, the best games were won at the line of scrimmage. Not some completely unexpected game plan that the opponents just couldn't figure out.

Every year a few Brand new Head coaches have playoff calibur teams, and the old coaches who have been doing the same thing year after agonizing year end up at the bottom of their divisions, or have good records & get snuffed out in the first playoff game because the other team knew exactly what they were doing every time they lined up. Fisher is rediculously OLD HAT and any head coach who is working as hard as his players has him pegged week in and week out. Like I said, the only thing ever giving the Titans any chance of winning is when they win at the line of scrimmage, and Fisher Shouldn't get credit for that.

Next time he wants to have some fun & joke about someone, he should leave the joke to him alone, because He alone is the real JOKE in Tennessee. I just hope Bud Adams can eventually see that and throw caution to the wind & get a Coach who really Wants to WIN and is willing to put in the time in the playbook and not the local events that he uses to boost his name.

Fisher has given up on the TITANS and it's time the TITANS give up on him and demand a Better, Hungrier Head Coach

Jeff Fisher is flat-out the best coach the Titans have ever had. We should admire him; not demonize him, for his amusing "winner" jab. He wants to win so badly he'll even jump on the Colts bandwagon now and then ... now that's dedication. Jeff, don't listen to Bud or those blinded fans ... just keep doing your thing — you're the best.

I'm from Indy and am a loyal Colts fan. While the Titans have always been our rivals, most folks I know in Indy deeply respect Jeff Fisher for his approach to the game, loyalty to his team, and his overall classiness. Even in the midst of their horrible start, he can still smile and poke fun... especially for a fund raiser. Nothing he's done has caused me to think less of him. Wins/losses come and go, but class is constant.

Let me put it like this: I'd rather have 0–6 with class than to be 4–2, just ran up 59 points on a team (what is this, the BCS standings?), and had everyone see me walk out of the Super Bowl without shaking hands with the opposing team after losing!

I agree with the person who said this was meant solely for his team.... as an eye opener. I have been fan of the Titans since they were the Oilers.. I followed them to Tennessee like many other fans and the one thing that has always impressed me with Fisher is his ability to get the best out of his players.. now for him to do that he has to have them believe in what he is selling. I believe with the team we are fielding these days he didnt feel the need to sell them much being we came off a heartbreaking season in which a bad taste was left in many of the players mouths... hell it made LenDale lose weight that should be enough proof right there. So Fisher being the coach that he is let that do the motivating.... well fast forward to week 6 and we are now winless... Fisher needs to find a way to light a fire under his team... and what better way then wear a Manning jersey (which I've been to Tenneessee multiple times and you guys treat Manning like he is Obama) and say he just wants to feel like a winner. I truly believe that he is purposely trying to call out his team. If you have ever played for a coach that you truly admire that last thing you want to do is let him down and sometimes a little jab like that might be just what is needed.
