This happens a lot.
Luckily, the place where I work now isn’t a breeding ground for queens of drama, but I’ve been in some places where this is extremely typical. Perhaps you’ve got some war stories?
Working with those that slow us down is part of ministry. In fact, especially if you’re the resident “geek” and/or “technologist” part of your day-to-day is managing these types of relationships.

I really like Squarespace for the "ease" factor. I am in the midst of learning a lot more about how to do my own development but in the meantime Squarespace lets me focus on just posting what I want to post and not stress out too much about how to make it tick. I am sure for the really savvy it wouldn't offer as much flexibility as one would like, but for me it's awesome.

I have come full circle in this as I was highly engaged and excited about technology when I was younger and then went through a period of time where I literally could have cared less. I am back to being engaged and involved but now I can at least see why other people might have zero interest in the same things as I do, particularly when it comes to technology.

What a good reminder. I like 'getting away' from the office by going to Starbucks and hanging out with my other webby 2.0y MacBook carrying friends. I'm still getting work done but get to do it outside my office. If everyone I worked with were like me... Starbucks wouldn't be such a 'getaway' for me. :)
