Many months ago I had a bit of a crisis on my blog because I felt I wasn't blogging with my real voice. The blog is much more professional that I am and doesn't contain any cursing ;-) I've learned over time to write more like I speak - it's more conversational and sometimes snarky, although I still don't curse. My Voice... For me I am the same. Believe it or not, but I talk to everyone the same. I have made it very important that my clients know who I am as a person, so when they do search the internet for me there are no surprises.
I think that changing my voice would be the worse thing I could do to myself. I believe that my clients like the person I am and the work I do, so this is why they stay with me. Even when my clients are in the US and I live in Costa Rica. ... See all content Hide content

This is such an important question because your voice is what separates you from others. Literally and figuratively.
That movie preview guy has quite a voice. Apple has quite a voice. Steve Tyler has quite a voice.
