IT’S always good to learn of efforts to promote atheism on the internet, so we were naturally delighted by the news that a new blog, which aims to give a voice to young freethinkers, went “live” this week.

Young Freethought is the brainchild of student Michael Campbell, Chief Editor, who says it was created:

Great idea and I wish you well. My first piece in The Freethinker was published in the late 1950s and I couldn’t believe it. My great hero then, and so he remains, was David Tribe. His front page articles showed me that you could attack religion with punchy writing underpinned by religious knowledge. I had never seen anything like it.
