If Adreian Payne is indeed going to make his college choice at 5:30, then we’ll talk about it here. Payne is reportedly down to UK, West Virginia and Michgian State. Buzz this morning is the choice is Michigan State, but people were saying West Virginia last night. Anyway, we can always talk about the Blue-White scrimmage. We’ll start at about 5:15.

Not trying to speak of Jerry, but think he was trying to tie together Patrick’s new game (three-pointers, perimeter play) with his new ride. That’s all.

In all seriousness, the comments that bookend the article come across as more of an editorial comment than reporting. That the facts were wrong makes the tone of the article appear malicious in nature.

Patrick does have a new truck. He told the media that last night in the post-game interviews. Jerry assumed he drove it to and from the game. He was wrong to assume. I’ve made that same mistake from time-to-time, especially on deadline. There was nothing malicious about what he wrote.
John, wonder if anyone else is NOT driving a new truck?? Have you heard about anyone else not driving one? Just curious here in south Alabama…
