Hey Gary Gray!

You’ve been a good friend and a great supporter for a long time and I’m glad to finally give you something valuable. The best advice I’ve ever heard for writers is _ “Writers Write” – so keep at it and just keep getting better.

The web has given us such a great tool to deploy and monetize our ideas, this is truly the greatest time to be a writer, filmmaker, speaker, or idea person.

Ha Ha, Dan Lopez and his low rider, love that guy!

Great message Rick, you’re a true creative entrepreneur (and entertaining…truly a guy after my own inner stand up comedian).

I’m with you, it’s all about the message, all about what you love, and all about having fun doing it without buying into that old message and way of doing things.

And by the

SEE JT?

A simple idea – with such far reaching consequences!

But, as you said, he had to implement!

And so it goes…

My father (rest his soul) had no plan except for a quickie in the bowling alley restroom. Oops! Sometimes wonderful things just happen.

Hey JT “Woody” Chandler,

If I were to respond to your comment with one word it would be – obviously.

Ideas without implementation are self defining.

On the upside, every fantastic invention, strategy, or improvement in the world began as only an idea.

In fact, even YOU began as your father’s idea. (Though it’s not likely he ever imagined

Ideas are like farts…

every”body” has them

most of them stink

many are just hot air

most don’t last long and a replacement is usually already in the making

they’re hard to contain and they dissipate quickly (mason jars work but you gotta be quick)(takes engineer type for help)

they’re pretty much impossible to

Hey Mike Filsaime!

Thanks for dropping by and sharing about hanging with Tim. If you scroll up in these comments you’ll see that on a fluke chance tonight – I saw he was on Twitter and @replied him and he came her and left a comment!

I’m resurfacing at last here on the web after more than a year of staring into my belly button and deciding what I wanted to do –

Rick. That is what I remember most from the book. What is funny, I was just with Tim at small pub in SF 2 weeks ago. He lives is life. He was having fun with the Mavericks acting like nuts in 1980’s gear and fake tattoos. If I seen him again, I’ll point him here. I am sure he will get a kick out of it.

I often tell that story (and man do I mess it up. But I get the message right

Hey thanks Rick

Loved your video and republished it on my “Location Independent Living Now” blog

Read your book. (once) I am making a commitment to reread it seven times or until I really start to “get it” lol

I love the focus of working with the idea people. I wrote four short stories that were published in May 2009 one of which has been accepted

Macztr –

If you are in between careers – I’d take a long look at the “muse” in the 4 Hour Work Week. This is a business that pays your bills and sets you free – an automated biz that doesn’t require you to clock in – or be chained to a retail store – (I’d kill myself now before going back into retail – what a death trap).

Choreography you say Ali?

I have been working up a video of me doing just that to “You Should Be Dancing” by the Bee Gees! But,. thanks for the kind words about the video. That book, particularly that story, really impacted me, and I hope it makes a difference in your life, too.

I get it.

Thanks for the reminder. I need to put 4HWW back at the top of my stack and read it through again now that my own job has been outsourced and I’m trying to decide what to do for the next chapter.

I LOVE Apothecary Jeri! Unless it doesn’t describe you or what you do?

Here’s why I like it:

1. Apothecary is a way cool world that conjures up all sorts of net images

2. Jeri adds a friendly and approachable modifier

3. I freakin RHYMES for crying out loud!

If you are going in a new direction – or this is not you now – what ARE you?
