Watched this session from a boat in the channel and it was extremely challenging. Great to see the Tassie contingent holding their own and making the wave theirs. The 'big-name' fly-ins, Hipwood and Vaculik, were absolutely out of their depth and did not get a handle on the conditions at all - that they wipedout of every wave was testimony to that. .........and they were out of there in a ... when you say "EVER", do you mean in the history of the world, or the short time it's been surfed? I can't make my decision until I understand the question. I do know one thing though - I wouldn't surf this without some sort of insurance coverage.
