A high iron containing breakfast can be prepared with makhana and milk.It is more tasty and nutritious than corn flakes.

Apart from salty and crunchy makhana you can also cook delicious sweet dishes in just five minutes.

Quick and yummy snack for a cold winter weekday every:).

I had it at my friends place long back ( yrs) I never made as i’m not really sure whether my family will like or not. Should give it a try sometime.

…. just delicious for yourself I reckon…… A midnight snack when all the house is quiet….

I tried making some curry withe these but no one really liked them.:(

Now stir fried might just be popular. Let me see.

I do hope that you like them salt and pepper style. I would love it if you report back and see whether you have some converts to makhana.

I always wondered what they were used for when I saw them in the grocery store. Will pick them up this time around, they seem to be a yummy snack

There are quite a few great recipes around for them, Priya. They are worth trying – I love the salt and pepper version.
