You said it best: "…or may not have had a clear understanding of the mortgages they signed." Come on! The mortgage is the biggest expense a person will ever have. You must know what you are signing!!!.All these "poor unsuspecting homeowners" are the same ones who used their homes like an ATM to buy pools, plasma TVs, and cars. I have ZERO sympathy for you!!!

Mortgage companies are the culpable parties in this mortgage crisis. What is next are credit card companies going to start blaming individuals for not paying their 29% interest. I mean come on.
