I love how you captured the different positions of their wings as they were flying! Great shots!

And I find ALL birds beautiful!

My recent post Suet cake for everybody!

I agree that they are beautiful birds. We just take them for granted. it helps if you see them in a natural setting instead of near a trash pile.-Nicely captured!

There are birds that can be a nuisance, such as being bullies at the feeders, or scavenging in trash and leaving a mess. Regardless, ALL birds are beautiful and NONE should be considered a trash or junk bird. I hate the term too.

Thank you for your comments!

I like that you took what some people consider to be a ‘junk’ bird and showed the beauty that it too has. I hate the term ‘junk’ bird.. Beautiful photo…Michelle

Amazing shot! It was amazing how you had captured these birds so beautifully in flight. Rock pigeons are quite common here in Singapore too.

Wonderful capture considering that they can fly over 40 miles per hour John!

I agree with you about them being beautiful birds. It is interesting the folks who like to classify some birds as “junk” birds because of their own preferences. Kinda the same way some folks consider other people in the same manner. Too bad. A poor perspective on life I say.

BTW, nice to see you

Interesting. I work in downtown chicago so I see them all time. But rarely do I see them fly. Very nice.
