Hehe, very cool use of Green Day songs. At first I thought “hm.. strange, he didn’t use it one the Monster Madness intro. Oh well, he’s probably saving it.”

And then I got really confused when Good Riddance started playing and thought “What?! he’s not gonna use Basket Case at all?”

But then at the end: “Aha! There it is ^^”

Iono if someone already said this but…in the Basket Case 3 trailer it totally looks like Krang when the brother is controlling some kind of machine and fighting the sheriff. Check it out! lol

I finally understand your reference when you mentioned this movie in your Sega CD review, speaking about the genesis’ siamese twin

That’s funny, it looks exactly like the two legged head freaks in Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines.

Now I know where the inspiration came from.

It’s funny, the scene that is shown where the lead character with the basket is talking to the woman in the bar, I heard those lines before in a song. The song was released in like 1991 or so by a group called Eon. The album was called Void Dweller. The song, was of course called “Basket Case.” I always wondered where that sample came from. Also, this group was featured in the movie ... See all content

This movie looks freaking awesome. I’ve actually seen the dvd at the local dvd store and didn’t even know what to think of it. Now I gotta go buy it. It was only like 4 dollars

I saw this when I was or 4 (1983) at a friend’s. My mom had a clock that had a similar shape and it scared me. I later found it (1999) and loved it. One recomendation, NEVER see the sequels. They are true crap.

This is one of my all-time favorites- a psychotic, sleazy, low-budget melding of Freud, Cronenberg, IT’S ALIVE, and the classic, tragic archetype of the deformed, misunderstood monster (PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME, etc.).

For fans of the film, the special edition DVD has got some genuinely hilarious extras that are definitely worth your time, including a glimpse of

Man, I remember seeing this movie as a kid, I was waaay too young to see this, had nightmares for weeks.

Great times, lol.

Never saw the sequels though, I didn’t even know they existed, strange.

I saw it at my friends house, but I only really remember 2 and 3. It was his brothers movie, and I am glad James did a video of it this year, cause I have a hard time remembering the names of all the movies I have seen.
