Hey! What’s up? Pozi’s back….with some bad news
Unfortunately, Ghosthustler is dead and will never release an actual album. Boo on that because amidst all this noise, they were able to penetrate my dark side and cut through my heart with thier synth knifes. They are so freakin’ good, hands down. And upon further research such as random acquaintance surveys, google searches, social network stalking and other things that matter, I have concluded that not ...
enough people know the amazingness of what was once Ghosthustler. They were blogged back in early 2008 by our friends over at Discodust and MissingToof, along with few others, but after that, nothing. Meanwhile, I’m dancing in my bedroom, on the street, repeat madness on the pod, waiting for the album….nope, not gonna happen. But the memories of the anticipation are fond and this band from Texas got me through some oh so tough and treacherous times with the two tracks I came across, so in honor of double hit wonders in my own head, Disco Workout, I present or maybe re-present to you, Ghosthustler, awwyeah.
mp3: “Someone Else’s Ride” - Ghosthustler
mp3: “Only Me To Trust” - Ghosthustler
See, it’s good, huh? Luckily Adam Paloma, a former GH member has gone on to produce some dancetastic tunes under the moniker of Vega and more recently, the infectious Neon Indian. Both soooo equally dreamy. Check it. Hope still lives. Here’s a couple from Neon Indian’s album, Psychic Chasms.
mp3: “Deadbeat Summer” - Neon Indian
mp3: “Terminally Chill” - Neon Indian
OH! And here’s a little vid for ya. Don’t have this mp3, so if you do, send it over homie… make my Ghosthuster album complete plz…thanks.
Ps. Neon Indian is coming to a city near you in soon, so check his link and go.
Love Always,
Pozi <3
