I don’t know about you, but I’m getting a little tired of hearing Republicans act self-righteous about this health care bill. Of course it’s a terrible bill that will increase government and taxes and make our health care worse — but let’s take a short trip down memory lane.

We’ve tried the free market way and it failed. Free market turned into cut throat business and anything to make a profit. Doing anything to make a profit and letting that be the basis for our health system…the overlap is painful and people are suffering.

The government option is the closest thing to a community-run health system as we can get as a nation.

No doubt that there is something horribly wrong with our healthcare system. Not sure where your opinion and the opinion of Wes Benedict begins.

I’m also not sure why anyone is in favor of letting the market rule healthcare - the healthy and the wealthy I suppose.
