My Favorite Things: Shep Smith

I find this article interesting, especially the comment about Oxford people. I am an Ole Miss graduate (class of 96) and also think that Oxford is the greatest place on earth! Last week I attended the UM-UT game and brought my dear friend (who happens to be a UT grad) to enjoy the Ole Miss experience! We went to dinner Friday night and ran into Shepard Smith who proceeded to tell my friend she was a “disgrace” because she went to UT. This was among other apalling things he so graciously said to her. She was upset and I was embarrassed! I ended up trying to explain to her that MOST Ole Miss people are not rude and obnoxious- in fact, he is the first I have ever met!

I have since learned that my friend was not the only one who was on the receiving end of his obnoxious behavior that weekend. Way to go Shep! ... See all content Hide content
