Hey Nick, great point. I do like the idea and some of the properties seem helpful, but I’ve never used them and haven’t found anyone else that has…. hence the random guesses to what in the world they actually are.

To the best of my knowledge, these properties are implemented precisely nowhere; they exist only in the specification.

Certainly they are not exposed by any existing mainstream browser’s accessibility APIs, so they aren’t of any use to screenreaders. I don’t think any of the major screenreaders would know what to do with them even if they were informed about them via such APIs.
