I receive the emails and notifications from CAPS. I’ve noticed nothing Racist about the organization.
Sad that if you see benefits by reducing immigration your called a “racist”, regardless of reason. Name calling…just sad.
In conclusion, the comments on this webpage are base and degenerate.
Immigrants would likely be superior to many of my fellow
“native” born, particularly the ones that commented below and the author.

Great article. I hope the Australians adopt this pragmatism.
The option is to proceed down the path Australia appears to be on. Don’t make the mistake that California made.
I live in California where we had a great “boom”–absolutely disastrous. It was propped up by lenders giving money to people that couldn’t afford the inflated housing, which also led
to inflated rents. High levels of immigration resulted in a shortage of housing, true, but typically our immigrants are low-skilled and low-wage earners. Increased supply equals increased demand, but there is an affordability limit and we over-reached that 20 years ago.
Califronia now has over-priced housing and rents which is a huge burden for families and middle-class people that are trying to just live and get by.
This article is true. The only thing I would add is that Australia also needs to limit it’s immigration rates to sustainable and realistic levels–California’s is out of control and appear beyond fixing it’s gone on for decades and has resulted in sprawl communities that are degenerate and base.
In California our unemployment rate is over 12% and climbing. Australia is a great place, don’t follow the path that California has gone–You’ll be sorry!

This guy is rambling…I was around someone that took meth once. Listening to a meth user is similar to the article–if you listen long enough it almost makes sense.
“Revolt” “revolution” “hate” “suffering” “fight” “holocaust” “killing”… Come on? Come on? If you dig this article there is something
wrong with you, regardless of your politics.

Let me say what they can’t say because we still have free speech in the US, something sorely lacking in Europe.
Good point. American-based websites have become the new Radio Free Europe, broadcasting to Europeans whose governments are censoring their speech and media.

It’s funny when Republicans scream about how there’s too much regulation in this country, how the government’s too big, how taxes are too high, and then want the government to infringe on the freedom of individuals to consume what they want. How about we return to fundamental values in this country: freedom and personal responsibility. Everyone should be free to consume what they want. Only when people actually cause harm to others should government attempt to restrict individual freedom. ... See all content Hide content

These abortionists ask, “Who has returned from the grave with a message of comfort? What God has ever said, Arise, and I will lighten your burden and lead you to life?” They reply, “No, there has been no such God, nor will there ever be such a God. He is our Enemy.” *4
These executioners are resolute in committing Feticide, Infanticide and Partial Birth Abortion, “But
since man cannot give life, it is not for him to give death. That must be reserved only for God, who moves in mysteries.” *5
And yet these baby killers believe they are “Sacrosanct”, (holy and blessed), in their pious amoral religiosity.
Luke 17:2 states that anyone who harms these “little ones”, “It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea.”

Thanks for the fine writing Dr. Hanson. As fun it is to watch the philosopher king self destruct, we in the formerly golden state of California have almost completed the task. Pleease continue to write about our democratic politician-made disasters in California.
-32% of state on welfare, only 22% do not even look for work.
-Bloated state salaries and benefits, and collosal fraud on all levels of social welfare. State workers union is 17% of population, and most vote, thus they are almost part of the democratic machine.
-Immigration without assimulation and all of the other negative consequences.
-State universities spend millions on “rabble-rouser” programs: “Pick your Minority Studies Program.” studies”. Too much administration in colleges also, while tutition continues to rise.
-Most taxed state in US history. People are leaving the golden state with generally the best climate in the world for hot Vegas or snowy Reno in the desert.
-Envronmentalist over-represented in population. Send these do-gooders to third world countries to do “real environmental work”
-near dead-last in all national education programs. Sorry Dr. Hanson, but Cal State Universities are not quality colleges overall. Most graducates can’t put together a sentence. Majority of profs are progressive or radicals. SF State has become a protestor’s cesspool.
-affirmative action, quotas out of control and irrational.
Even though John “I want to be liked by democrats, too” McCain loves Meg Whitman alot, she still may be a good govenor. She is saying some tough stuff on her ads such as the 32% welfare line I used above. ... See all content Hide content
