I do know that “low and slow” is the best way to cook eggs, but I’ve never tried the double boiler method. Great idea, especially because the glass bowl will really let you see what’s happening.

While there’s commonality among all natural light shooting, I think there’s a huge difference between living in California or Florida, and living in a part of the country where it’s dark in the winter, sometimes even during the day, and the day is short. I love that your cheese shop sells shredded ends. I’ve kept a cheese box in my freezer for years. Whenever I have a little bit of cheese left from a recipe, I grate it into the box. Then I use the box when I make quesadillas or grilled cheese sandwiches, or need a topping for a mac and cheese casserole.
