JEREMY WINS! He had three entries, as did others. I will email and he will have to claim his prize.

Just so you all know, I ascribed the appropriate amount of entries per person, then gave each one or more numbers. After that, I placed the range 1-54 into http://www.random.org and came up with one of Jeremy’s #s!

“For some reason, it is so difficult for me to believe God loves me when people that should love me don’t.”

That is one of the central questions all people have. Think about it. If you or I was born in a different continent, we may not have made it past preschool due to poverty. Can God be good and loving when the world is the way it is? God is not the cause of evil just like God

Honestly and “wisely” would be absolutely true. However, what we are talking about here is what to do when you are in a sticky spot where a leader throws you under the bus. There will always be conflict, but what would you say specifically to this young pastor and what results would you expect from it? I would love to hear your perspective.

Craig…Not six months…three! We had our pastor gone for 1/2 that time is why. We do communion as a rule with the messages that fit it best. I would prefer a schedule, but it seems good to do it when it fits the context. The only downside is that it means we might have lapse in doing it if we do not check the calendar often enough.

One word comes to mind: “gotcha”

Reconciliation does not begin with shots fired. The mistakes made by the authors and publisher are regrettable, but this makes it not better at all. Very sad. Very sad day for the Christian community in America.

I would have rather heard that the reaching out happened before the ironic nature of the character assassination of these authors

maybe…

I think talent is important since gifting to communicate to larger group is needed. Its building the long term systems that churches are not willing to do–develop creative talents, disciple and model.

Without that training and focus we are left with this choice: people who supposedly are godly yet lack strong gifting OR who are gifted. The “both and”
