You don't have to deprive your children of teachers who are degreed professionals in order to teach them yourself. You can have both. In fact, just because your kids are in school doesn't absolve you of the responsibility of making sure your children are doing their work. They're your kids. You better be teaching them stuff at home. That's a parents job.
