This isn't really that bad. It requires physical access in terms of being able to access a servers power supply. Also it still took over 100 hours. Just put a resonable TTL on the keys say 10 hours to ensure it.

Average Broadband is slow in the US compared to other countries because the US is alot more spread out than Europe and Japan. When you have higher density it is easier to have higher capacity. I'd like to see the US average broken down by Geographic regions particularly the Northeast and the California coast from San Fran to San Diego. Also don't use the Canada argument. Almost 60% of the population lives in just Ontario and Quebec. Also 90% of the population lives within 100 miles of the US border.
