Lugaru was great. The difficulty was tuned perfectly to me. I remember doing anything I could to separate multiple opponents. The motion felt fluid. It felt as if fighting games grew up in another world, one where every arcade machine had a mouse and keyboard. It’s clear they want to capitalize on Lugaru, and I hope they end up making a game in a very similar vein. Too many cooks, and such. We’ll see.

Lugaru presented the protagonist’s species really nicely. It’s one thing for a cop, possibly accustomed to violence, to pursue a vendetta. The game used the fact that you were a rabbit to make this thirst for revenge actually stick out, to mean something. It’s a shame that this is seen as having anything to do with furriness. number 142….goshdarn i love reading lists, lists of anything, grocery lists, bucket lists, lists of people you hate from highschool and lists of people worthy of death, lists lists lists….i agree with all of you, and i disagree with everyone. First off, i made a top 20. Secondly, total complete BS copout that alex didnt submit a list, and also, though i agree with the inclusion of ESOTSM as a bone of contention, i disagree on its placement as number one two three top movie of the decade. I also fervently, vehemently disagree with those who chose harry potter or LOTR, though i am a huge fantasy/sci fi follower, i cannot in good conscience jump on that bandwagon. Stand alone and on your own. Any inclusion of a foreign film as well cannot make my ultimate decade AMERICAN list of best movies ever, for the small fact that nobody but true film buffs watch them. It should be a seperate category, so that the minority of film snobs cant polish chestnuts such as y tu mama tambian, persepolis, maria full of grace, and oldboy, which clearly are superior films but do not fit into the american best of decade. I exclude them on the grounds that including them is unamerican…lol. Also, in continuation of my disagreement with previous favorites, i have to discount children of men on the grounds that it is not better than gladiator or sin city, which didnt make my top twenty, but i will include clive owen because of his attachment to inside man, which made the grade. Also, Leo comes up three times but i consider each movie a tie. The following 23 movies have made the best of my decade, hope you enjoy it enough to write your own top ten.

No matter how many times Michael Jordan will say no, Spike Lee knows “it’s the shoes”, but this time around, it’s Spike’s shoes we’re asking questions about. Spike was spotted in his usual position at Madison Square Garden when the Knicks took on the Sixers Friday night. The decorated film director was wearing a pair of the Grape Air Jordan Spiz’ike, a colorway that won’t release until April 2010. Among the Garden crowd was former Knick Charlie Ward, actor John Turturro, Olympic Gold Medalist Lindsey Vonn, and some former New York baseball greats, so check out pics of Spike Lee and his Grape Spiz’ikes after the jump.

We have already notified you of the Nike Dunk Hi AC “World Cup” releasing at select retailers stateside and overseas. However, we have now learned that the Nike Dunk Hi AC “World Cup” is now available at 21 Mercer Street.

The Nike Dunk Hi AC “World Cup” consists of three Auto Dunk Highs that represent specific countries including France, Brazil and the Netherlands . Each pair features a 100% canvas base combined with a white, vulcanized rubber sole and white hints in the form of the swoosh and shoelaces. The France pair (shown to the right) is done up in red, while the Netherlands pair features an orange canvas. Last but not least, the Brazil pair features a black canvas finish. Will the Jordan Spizike Black/Varsity Red-Stealth be the best Spizike release of 2010?

A lot of you took a liking towards some of the St. Patrick’s Day-inspired sneakers worn by some of the NBA players. However, the Jordan Hallowed Ground Ray Allen wore a couple of nights before St. Patrick’s Day caught you attention more.

The adidas Originals Transform Pack releases we saw on Friday took convertible sneakers to a new level.  Taking the pack itself to another level?  Simple as adding three new pairs of two-kicks-in-one.  The new designs include a black Samba TF, whose Micropacer-like tongue snaps off to reveal lava red laces.  Next up, the Nizza hightop, whose ankle reinforcements have been removed to allow it to fold down and reveal a pale yellow lining.  Last, but certainly not least is a Forum mid whose removable instep strap is extra wide for an almost Air Jordan XX look.  Enjoy more shots of those after the jump, plus the Stan Smith 80s and Superstar IIs that are available at Extra Butter NY.  via FRESHNESS
