We now have 2 full hour episodes where Dana is gone from CTU and about 90 minutes for Cole. There is a national emergency and no one is tracking them down? This must mean Arlo is a bad guy and now has something to hold over Cole and Dana’s heads to keep them from telling on him when they find out he’s bad. The writing this season is terrible but I still will watch every week because Kiefer gives 100%. Last week’s episode had me thinking the show was finally on track but last night was another off kilter hour. How on earth can Cole take off for an hour and Dana has been gone over an hour, during a Code Red at CTU?? I don’t care a hoot about Dana, so I don’t buy Cole agreeing to help her cover up breaking the law. Arlo knows both their secrets and when we find out Arlo is a bad guy Cole and Dana won’t be able to tell anyone or he’ll tell on them. I can see this plotline a mile away. Yes, but the reviewer doesn’t recognise when a “Jack is Back” episode runs, like last night. She sounds like a 24 novice. 24 is like an onion, many layers peeled in the 1st 8 hours, characters fall along the wayside and plots change. Enjoy the ride. Season 6 was really the only horrible season in my eyes.

Day 7 kicked butt. And as of last night’s episode, I think 24 is back on track for Day 8. Why on earth does Dana think she can kill Kevin and his buddy and just go back to work? And is Freddie going to cover for her when he finds out what she did? Will they both kill Arlo….lol? Jack was awesome and Renee looks better back in CTU. Your take on the episode was way off base! I loved Kathy Bates and never saw her as anything but Jo, a role. Loved getting the old Jim back,and am hoping the writers have been reading message boards and realize we all have missed the fun between Jim and Dwight. Erin is so cute with Michael. I thought the Jack, Renee, Larry Moss dynamic was great last year. Bring Larry back from the dead. He would have been a great new head of CTU and gave some twist to the Renee going undercover with Jack plotline.

I didn’t even think to check the message boards to read all the reviews until 3 in the afternoon, so, that shows how unexciting Day 8 is so far. But I still will watch 24 as I think it might get better and Kiefer does his best with what the writers give him. Day 7 was spectactular after a horrible Day 6, so, am keeping the faith. It is Kiefer’s stunning star power as Jack Bauer that is keeping me watching Day 8, but it seems he has less and less screen time each episode. That Dana chick’s acting range runs from A to B, she is as stiff as a board. Every season we have an “Arlo”. Renee’s decent into the dark side is too soon and as much as I also hated that Larry Moss was murdered, I don’t think that one bad thing in her life would make her go off the deep end. Her back story with thr Russian mob doesn’t fit the Renee we met last season or she wouldn’t have been so reisistant to Jack being so bad last season. ... See all content Hide content

Alec Baldwin acts his butt off on 30 Rock. He is truly a movie star on tv. Don’t let it being a comedy fool you, his voice, body language and even his often slight facial expressions are pure acting gold that define his character so much that he owns Jack! He deserves all his wins.
